The alternative is to fly to Manila and take a domestic flight to Cebu, or take a ferry. From the capital city flights to Cebu are offered several times a day. The boat trip takes about 20 hours, but sailing on a luxury liner through the Philippine archipelago is an adventure in itself.

From Cebu City, take a taxi to the Pier of the Hilton Hotel or the one of Angasil, both located on Mactan Island. From the piers outrigger boats leave every 30 minutes to the pier of Santa Rosa. From the Santa Rosa Wharf, Talima Beach Villas and Dive resort can be reached within 15 minutes by tricycle or motorcycle.
